So it’s not exactly only “On Volunteering”, but still around the web and still relevant in this area:

• Low cost laptops developed to lessen the digital divide worldwide may have found a market in the US.

• French aid workers taken hostage in Afghanistan are released.

• An innovative way to train service dogs, with a perhaps surprising side benefit.
• Tips and links for volunteering in the UK, including IT volunteering advice.
• And finally, I found this troubling but still notable for the implication - in my mind at least - that people wherever they are from probably act similarly in challenging circumstances.
